I wasn’t angry, or even particularly sad, just… dim.

I remember looking out my window one rainy afternoon, the gray skies mirroring my inner landscape, and thinking, “Is this it?” Then, almost like a whisper, Micah 7:8 floated into my mind. I didn’t “feel” anything different, but something shifted. It was less like a light switch, and more like a pilot light, small but steady, igniting within me. The promise of rising again wasn’t about escaping the rain, but about finding a light within it.
