As I meditated on Isaiah 6-3 something hit me. I mean it made me dig deep and think. So I ask Have you ever wondered where to find God’s presence in your everyday life? We often search for Him in grand moments, during religious ceremonies, or in the sacred places of worship. But what if I told you that God is present in the simplest things we often overlook?
From the melodious chirping of birds to the innocent smiles of babies, God reveals Himself in unexpected and surprising ways. There is so much beauty in God’s omnipresence in the world around us. And as I sat in my quiet space and journaled it all became clearer to me.
Isaiah 6:3 proclaims, “Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.” This verse beautifully captures the essence of God’s omnipresence. When I stumbled upon this verse, I knew I had to create a Bible journaling page that would do justice to its profound meaning.
Isaiah 6-3 Bible Journaling Page – His Presence
For my Bible journaling page of Isaiah 6-3, I didn’t think too long about what I wanted to create. For this page, I had this very strong urge to make sure that my page showcased how God is always present in our lives, even in the places we least expect. This normally doesn’t happen this quickly. Most of the time I ponder a bit longer on what I want my page to look like. Not this time. . .
I quickly started creating a kit of a woman sitting on a big fluffy cloud, next to the biggest, most beautiful image of the world God has given us. I added some birds and flowers. And this was all done without a thought. I mean not for one second had I stopped to think about what to design. For a second or two I sit there wondering how this had just happened. But that didn’t last long because I had to page to create. . .
For the background of my page, I used watercolors. I created the most beautiful bluest sky, then added some grass to the lower part of my page. Each stroke of the brush was a gentle reminder that God surrounds us at all times, whether in the bustling city streets or the tranquil quiet moments of Bible Journaling.
As I added the pieces I had created that feeling of His presence seemed to hit me stronger. There wasn’t a moment where I can say I sat back and thought about the design.
God’s Unconventional Ways
Many times I have reflected on that day, and have written pages in my journal about it. But I am telling you, God wanted me to understand He was there with me, guiding me as I journaled, and meditated on His Word.
He has been my creative flow on many occasions, and until that day I gave credit to just being in the moment. I mean I’ve always known because I have always credited Him for my gift. But it’s a different knowing, it’s a different kind of spiritual awareness. I am telling you this creative journey for me has been eye-opening.
God has a way of disrupting our carefully crafted narratives. His plans and timing often defy our expectations. And yet, it is precisely in these disruptions that God’s presence shines the brightest. As I added my final touches to my Isaiah 6-3 Bible journaling page, I celebrated the disruptions and surprises that God brings into our lives. It is in these moments that His glory is revealed most vividly.

Final Thoughts on Isaiah 6-3
As I journaled Isaiah 6-3 the meaning of God’s presence became real. And I experienced something that only He could have done. And I am learning that through the simple act of Bible journaling, God is not confined to the walls of a church or the pages of religious texts.
Instead, He surrounds us, standing beside us, going before us, and watching over us. From the chirping birds to the innocent smiles of children, every aspect of our existence reflects the majesty and presence of our Creator.
